Just to make sure you know where to find the answer, check out this entry. Make animated text appear line by line Just like the sounds across multiple slides, this question comes up constantly on the newsgroup. (Oh, and if you need more help on PPT and the Web, check out the WEBifying section of the FAQ.) PowerPoint ruler shows inches instead of centimeters. Or vice versa PowerPoint uses the system settings for measurements. Since the steps for changing the setting aren't intuitive or obvious, check out this FAQ entry for the steps you need. The entire PPT FAQ in one megabyte gulp (TBD) Okay, so this one is a cheat, but I couldn't resist. There are hundreds of entries in the FAQ. Picking 10 was so hard that I felt the best answer was to give you a link to the whole FAQ in a searchable form. So, there you have it ....Entries You Didn't Know You Needed to Know!
