E-Learners - Resources for Learning PowerPoint On-Line!Ever wanted to take an online class, but not sure how to start? I have a solution for you: eLearner.com eLearner offers a listing of on-line classes on a wide range of topics, of all types, and in many styles of learning. Classes are presented by one of a number of participating organizations and colleges. All classes are presented on-line whether through chat situations or through interactive classrooms. For example, there are 12 PowerPoint classes presented by a variety of organizations including: Each class is described briefly in the index, with a link to a full fledged description. Class descriptions contain cost, time, style, and evaluation information for the class. In addition, information on the presenting organization is provided, such as accreditation, location, and type of organization. For an example, take a look at Black Hawk College's class: Microsoft PowerPoint. To register for the class, you must navigate to the provider's site, enroll in their program and take the class. In Black Hawk's case, this is fairly simple. The main page has links directly to the area of the college where you wish to take the class. All registration materials, procedures, and requirements are explained on the site. The sites for the providers are not quite as easy to navigate, but still provide the information you need to get set up for the course. While I investigated the PowerPoint and MS Office based programs more than I did the other programs, there are many other types of courses listed in the e-Learners.com directory. According to the site, the classes currently available are in the following categories (numbers in parenthesis indicate how many courses are available in that category): If you are interested in learning more about eLearning, visit the site.
